Speaker Janet Bickel, author of Women in Medicine: Getting In, Growing, and Advancing, has been in medical education for 30 years, 15 of these as DIrector of the Women in Medicine Program at the Association of American Medical Colleges. She is currently an independent consultant and coach working with individuals and institutions on career development and diversity issues.
