Breakfast Discussion: The Care Penalty

You and a friend are cordially invited to a breakfast and intergenerational, interactive roundtable discussion building upon WOMENS WAY’s Change of Pace research about the economic status of women in our five-county region:
The Care Penalty – The high price we pay when society undervalues the work of caring
Thursday, June 12, 2003, 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Chancellor Park
150 North 20th Street (20th and Race Streets)
Melissa Weiler Gerber, Executive Director of WOMENS WAY, and
Dana Barron, Executive Director of The Alice Paul Center for Research on Women and Gender at the University of Pennsylvania, will lead a discussion of the report’s findings and WOMENS WAY’s agenda for change.
We encourage you to bring a woman who is both new to WOMENS WAY and of a different generation.
