Southwest Family Center located at Mitchell Elementary School
56th & Kingsessing Ave. 19143 (Schoolyard entrance)– two new exciting programs:
“Effective Black Parenting” – for informal kinship caregivers (taking care of
someone else’s children without agency assistance). Program is free. Information Session on November 16 from 2-5pm at the Center. Call Traci Loper for information: 215-727-4333.

Drug Awareness Education 101
An Educational Workshop for Parents and Caregivers
Tuesday, November 5, 2002 , 9:30am
or Thursday, November 7, 2002, 6pm
(Only need to attend one session)
Facilitator: Sharon Arnold, Corporate Alliance For Drug Education (CADE)
Topics to Include: Signs and Effects of Drug Use, Street Names and Identification of Drugs, Resources for Treatment and More!!!!!!!!!
