Howard Zinn, teacher, historian, and social activist for more than 20 years, has taught history and political science at Spelman College in Atlanta and at Boston University, where he is now professor emeritus. He is the author of A People’s History of the United States and has written or edited ten other books. He lives in Auburndale, Massachusetts.
