13th Annual Institute for Arts and Transformation!
When: June 4 – 8, One day classes June 9
Where: Philadelphia University
What: The BuildaBridge Annual Institute is a training and applied research academy designed to prepare individuals to integrate arts effectively in education, social services and community development. The Institute includes two simultaneous tracks both including courses in foundational theory, arts management and education, applied arts and collaborative art-making. All courses are offered in a five day residency. One day courses including Arts Relief (includes Psychological First Aid and disaster relief simulation) and Introduction to Restorative Practices are offered on June 9. Act 48 credits are available for the Restorative Practices course.
Who Should Attend: Artists, youth workers, community and congregational leaders, teachers, social service professionals, nonprofit organization personnel, after-school program staff
Cost: Registration for Track 1 or 2 is $650; registration for special one day courses is $125. Housing is available for an additional fee.
