Democratic Civic Engagement

PHENND convenes the Pennsylvania Student Voter Coalition, a state-wide network of campuses supporting non-partisan student voter engagement. We meet monthly to discuss strategies to advance the democratic development, civic engagement and voter participation of students on each partner campus. Campuses can learn from each others’ individualized campus-wide voter engagement plans. Our goal is to increase voter participation during elections and engagement with local and national policy year-round.

Each major election year, PHENND provides information to member campuses about how to engage students in the political process, particularly as volunteers. As usual, here is a list of ideas, resources and materials for your review.
