Funding supports housing for domestic violence victims
The US Department of Justice is offering funding to programs providing transitional housing for domestic violence victims, including victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking who are in need of transitional housing, short-term housing assistance and related supports.
Sixty awards of up to $250,000 each are available. Proposals are due by January 8, 2009. All applicants must submit a non-binding letter of intent by December 24,2008. For more information, click here.
