Job description
Episcopal Community Services (ECS), a Philadelphia non-profit social services agency, located in Society Hill, with an annual budget of $9 million, is seeking a motivated marketing professional to fill its opening for an Advancement Marketing Coordinator (AMC). The AMC reports to the Marketing and Communications Manager and will be a vital part of the organization’s online and print marketing, communications and direct-response fundraising strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing innovation, excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills and a background in in writing, editing, social media, online content management and social media. Experience in simple graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite), photography and video a plus.
Minimum QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s level degree plus minimum of two years of experience (including internships) in marketing, public relations, non-profit development/advancement or related fields
- Strong written/verbal communication skills, including excellent grasp of grammar and style suitable for publications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and comfort with social media
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in website content management, social media, Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic publishing (preferably Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Familiarity with relational databases (fundraising software including Raiser’s Edge is a plus)
- Strong interpersonal skills and highest integrity standards
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a goal-oriented team environment.
