An Expungement is a motion that is filed with the court requesting that any record of past criminal charges be purged from the searchable record and any database that may be holding that information. To determine if you are eligible for an expungement in Pennsylvania, please go to http://www.paexpungementproject.org
For this clinic, our target audience will be adults and youth who are eligible for expungement(s) and their cases were adjudicated in Montgomery County, PA.

Bring $10 if you would like to complete a Pennsylvania State Police background check.  (This fee cannot be waived)

For Juvenile Record Expungements
If you had a case in Juvenile Court that you wish to have expunged, you must have following documents:
Juvenile Petition (charging document)
Affidavit of Probable Cause
Order of Adjudication
Order of Disposition – Original
Order of Disposition – Release from Probation
Early Expungement Agreement, if available

If you do not have these forms in your own records, copies may be obtained by contacting the Juvenile Court Clerk’s Office in the Juvenile Probation Department, 530 Port Indian Road, Eagleville, PA  19403 or 610.630.2252 ext. 5.
