Major Gifts Officer, National Liberty Museum
Posted on: February 6, 2014
Job description
This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly mission-driven, experienced development professional to join our talented and passionate team at the National Liberty Museum (http://www.libertymuseum.org). Located in the heart of America’s birthplace in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, our Museum takes visitors on an inspiring walk through freedom, and our tagline is to “Live Like a Hero.” The Museum’s exhibits and education programs teach young people to be leaders who keep liberty flourishing by contributing to our communities and our democracy, doing the right thing, and treating others in our diverse society and world with respect and empathy. The fun and engaging way we teach diversity and inclusion, active citizenship, character development and bullying prevention has made our programming highly sought after, and we are currently expanding our reach to a national audience, which will involve a three-year “Campaign for the Future” launching in 2014. We are looking for a results driven go-getter to join our friendly and driven team.
