Job description
Partners for Sacred Places seeks candidates for the full-time position of Program Director to oversee key programs at a growing and dynamic national organization focused on the health and vitality of America’s older sacred places. The Program Director will work collaboratively to develop new initiatives to meet the needs of this constituency.

Key responsibilities:

1. Oversee Strategic Investment in Sacred Places (SiSP) a comprehensive assessment, training, and consulting program conducted in partnership with denominational bodies or community development organizations.

Coordinate Partners’ staff and consultants providing services in five SiSP projects around the country.
Administer seed grants related to these five cohorts.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality services and efficient communication between Partners’ staff, consultants, and clients.
Collaborate with senior and executive staff to present this program to potential funders and sponsors.
Provide direct on-the-ground services to congregations in the program, in partnership with other Partners’ staff and consultants.
2. Conduct training in New Dollars/New Partners for Your Sacred Place, an organizational and funding capacity-building program for congregations.

3. Consult with a select number of congregations on topics such as organization and leadership structure, strategic planning, shared-space, fund-development, and other areas.

4. Collaborate with Partners’ staff to assess and improve existing programs, develop new programs, and market our services to potential clients and funders.

5. Manage a select number of junior program staff and interns.
