Congreso de Latinos Unidos – Board and Corporate Advisory Council Liaison; Director Project Renaissance.
Congreso is seeking a Board and Corporate Advisory Council Liaison and a Director of Project Renaissance.
The Board and Corporate Advisory Council Liaison will be responsible for the relationship management and staffing of Congreso’s Board of Directors, Pan American Academy Charter School Board of Directors, Facility Holding Companies, and Corporate Advisory Council.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in organizational development, marketing, public policy or related field; public speaking experience; strong communication and interpersonal skills; analytical, planning and material preparation skills; organizational and administrative skills; and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint). Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability strongly preferred.
The Project Renaissance Director will manage daily operations of center services to assist customers in obtaining their employment and training needs; monitor the program to ensure that performance and activities are compliant with contract requirements; develop relationships with other relevant local government entities, community partners and business partners; and coordinate staff work, scheduling, training and evaluations.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in business, social work, human services or related field (an MBA is preferred); a minimum of five years of experience in a supervisory position, preferably working with at-risk adult population; demonstrated knowledge of employment and training program administration, management and operation; excellent communication skills; and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, associates, outside agencies and the general public.
