Families Achieving College Education, School District of Philadelphia
Posted by on October 21, 2013
The Office of Family and Community Engagement of the School District of Philadelphia is excited to present several activities as part of Family Appreciation Month. This annual celebration allows the School District of Philadelphia to express our appreciation for all that you do in support of your child’s education and our schools. Studies have proven that when families are involved with their child’s education, students perform better in their classes and become more likely to graduate.
Throughout the month we will have a series of speakers, workshops and other various events to educate and empower our families. We encourage you to learn more about partnering with the District for student success.
Ongoing now until November 1 is “Families Achieving College Education” – Drop-In Information Sessions
10:30 am to 1:30 pm
Education Center at 440 N. Broad Street, in the Parent Resource Center
For a full list of all activities offered this month please contact the Office of Family of Community Engagement at www.philasd.org/face or call 215-400-4180.
