Individual Giving Officer
Episcopal Community Services (ECS), a faith based, Philadelphia non-profit social services agency that has been affirming human dignity and promoting social justice since 1870 is seeking a seasoned Advancement professional to fill its Individual Giving Officer (IGO) opening.
The IGO will work collaboratively with the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) to implement an aggressive but achievable strategy for increasing individual giving. The ability to identify, cultivate and solicit donors and major gifts prospects is imperative for this position. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to adhere to the highest integrity standards; and familiarity with the Episcopal Church are essential competencies of this position.
Qualifications: Bachelors’ degree with at least 3-5 years of successful fund raising experience, including direct solicitation of individual and major gifts. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment is required. Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge fundraising software is highly desired. Familiarity with the Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Pennsylvania is preferable.
