Deadline: September 30
Honor Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy by leading your community in service on MLK Day and build your organization’s capacity to engage volunteers in high-impact service by applying to be a MLK Day Lead Organizer. YSA and CNCS will provide MLK Day Lead Organizer grants to organizations for Martin Luther King Day of Service (Monday, January 20, 2014) activities. MLK Day Lead Organizers will engage youth and adult volunteers on MLK Day, use service as a strategy to meet important community needs, and build partnerships with other organizations in their community to achieve scale, visibility, and impact on MLK Day 2014. YSA will award between 16 and 64 grants of $1,000, $2,000, $3,000, or $4,000. MLK Day Lead Organizers will also receive ongoing training and technical assistance.
