Job description
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Evaluation Manager is responsible for managing the evaluation of the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Initiative.
Essential Functions:
- Develop quantitative and qualitative data collection instruments.
- Develop evaluation and data collection plans and procedures.
- Prepare and submit protocols for Institutional Review Board (IRB) review.
- Oversee the collection of process and outcome evaluation data.
- Manage and analyze process and outcome evaluation data.
- Work with the project team to ensure evaluation objectives are met and activities are conducted in accordance with IRB requirements.
- Report evaluation findings to funders, project partners and community stakeholders.
- Participate in activities and travel, as needed, during weekend and evening hours.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Well developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, attend to details, work under pressure, prioritize multiple project activities, and meet timelines.
- Knowledge of statistics.
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Proficiency with SPSS.
- Proficient in the use of Excel with the ability to create spreadsheets, charts and graphs.
- Proficient in the use of Powerpoint with the ability to deliver brief presentations.
- Ability to engage community members about statistics and evaluation information.
