Job description
Position & Background

The position is a three-year, grant-funded position. The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and implement a new grassroots fundraising program that engages the employees and offices of one of The Foundation’s key corporate partners, New York Life (NYL).

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with new and existing NYL offices in support of the Foundation’s Camp Erin® bereavement program with locations all over the country
  • Develop a turnkey toolkit for NYL offices to use to hold local fundraising events
  • Oversee and coordinate the NYL National Good Works fundraising efforts with key New York Life offices across the country
  • Meet annual fundraising goal for the program
  • Serve as the main point of contact for planning and management of events for NYL offices across the country
  • Collaborate with The Moyer Foundation’s Camp Erin program team to target the participation of NYL offices that are already supporting Camp Erin locally
  • Create and coordinate an annual recognition program for NYL offices that meet specific fundraising goals
  • Working with Director of Development & Communications, identify individual donor leads who can be cultivated from events and coordinate follow up with development staff
  • Weekly reporting on calls, meetings and other activities
