UAC sets panel discussion on 1963 March on Washington
The Urban Affairs Coalition will host a panel discussion entitled A Reflection: March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on Thursday, August 29th from noon to 1:30pm (light lunch at 11:30am) at 1207 Chestnut Street, 4th Floor.
Before the discussion, UAC encourages participants to view or read Dr. King’s “I have a dream” speech at the march, available here.

The event will consider such questions as: How has America changed in the past fifty years since Dr. King’s struggle and “dream” of social justice and equality for all? How has Dr. King’s life and legacy affected you and what more do we need to accomplish to become the nation Dr. King envisioned?
