Upcoming Training Webinar: Strategies to Better Serve Veteran Students
Given the draw down of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the recent upgrade in education benefits, more Veterans will continue to seek out higher education as a next step. Many of these women and men undergo challenges transitioning from one culture to the next, may live with invisible wounds, and may struggle to balance finances, work, and familial commitments. How can you and your campus better prepare to serve Veteran students and their families? This webinar will provide an overview of proven strategies and tactics that can create a Veteran-supportive campus culture. Facilitators will also be available for campus-specific planning and questions following the call.
