Let’s Move! Cities, Towns and Counties (LMCTC) Goal V: Active Kids at Play
On May 23, 2013, the National League of Cities hosted this webinar on how local elected officials can make progress on Goal V: Active Kids at Play by mapping children’s playspaces, creating a needs assessment, developing an action plan and launching policies, programs, and initiatives that increase access to play. This is the second of two webinars on Goal V, and this webinar focused on identifying strategies to encourage physical activity in the community. Strategies discussed included joint use agreements, safe routes to school programs, revitalizing playgrounds, and enhancing active transportation. Click here to download slides from this webinar,
