Volunteers Needed, Team LIVESTRONG Challenge Philly

The Team LIVESTRONG Challenge Philly is an annual event held just outside Philadelphia in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. Participants fundraise for the LIVESTRONG Foundation then Walk or Run the 5K or 10K course on Saturday, or choose from four ride distances ranging from 20-100 miles on Sunday, starting and ending at Montgomery County Community College. Most participants are either survivors of cancer or riding in memory or in honor of someone. After completing the walk, run or ride, participants, spectators and volunteers are invited to join us at the Post-Event Party. Volunteers are needed for the following positions:
Registration – “checking-in” riders and runners/and distributing bib numbers and gifts.
Course Marshals – directing the riders/runners on course.
Finish Line Festival – cheering riders/runners as they finish and hanging yellow roses to the finishers who are survivors of cancer.
