Strutting Through Time South Philly Style: Stories and Memories of South Philadelphia (100+ copies)
Features Neighborhood Histories by Harry C Silcox, Celeste Morello, and Sister M. Rosalima Balutwska. Oral histories include older adults from Saint Rita’s Senior Center, Methodist Hospital Nursing Center, South Philly Older Adult Center, and Philadelphia Senior Center as recorded by students from Saint Maria Goretti High School, Furness High School, CAPA High School, Pierce Middle School, and Jackson Middle School. Also included throughout the publication are a variety of photographs from the Urban Archives at Temple University.
West Side Stories: Memories of West Philadelphia (50+ copies)
This publication includes Neighborhood Histories by Robert Skaler, Bob Koch, and Ruth Molloy. Oral Histories feature older adults from Mercy Douglass Smith-Shepard Senior Center, West Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, Haddington Multi-Services Center, and West Philadelphia Neighborhood Senior Citizens as recorded by students from University City High School, Sulzberger Middle School, Our Lady of Sorrows School, West Philadelphia Cultural Alliance. Personal photos and those from the Urban Archives are included throughout.
