Event: PHS Green City Teachers-Creating a School Garden

8001 Torresdale Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19136 (Corner of Rhawn St. and Torresdale Ave)
Creating a School Garden is designed for educators who are interested in school gardening. This two- session course will cover how to design, build, and maintain a year- round school garden. Topics will include classroom activities, involving the community, getting kids outdoors, and working with administrators, as well as plenty of hands on activities. Participants will assist in building an outdoor school garden. (Act 48 credit is available)
