TeenSHARP PA3 Summer Bridge Program

TeenSHARP PA3 Summer Bridge Program (for juniors and current seniors matriculating into a college this fall)
The TeenSHARP PA3 Summer Bridge Program is designed to prepare students for college and college-level rigor. This six-week program will begin on July 13th and will take place on Saturdays from 9:30 am until 3 pm at the Rutgers-Camden campus.
By the end of the program the students will have:
– read 7-8 texts, including classic works in the fields of sociology, philosophy, political science, psychology, and education;
– participated in college-level seminars led by different college professors on the assigned readings;
– written at least six response papers;
– debated on the various hot-button issues with professionals in various fields;
– organized themselves for college using the tips and tricks shared by current college students.
We are looking for students who demonstrate intellectual curiosity, willingness to work hard and commit to an intensive curriculum. Apply by May 25th, 2013 at http://tinyurl.com/PA3-Summer.
