2013-14 United Way Request for Proposals for College and Career Readiness Program

United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (United Way) is issuing a Request for Proposals to identify agencies with girls-specific programming and activities in the Southeastern Pennsylvania region with the capacity to recruit and retain girls for six years in a program to promote college and career readiness starting in 7th grade and continuing through high school graduation and enrollment in college or other post-secondary program. Agencies that serve girls in grades 7 and 8 attending low performing schools and who demonstrate a need to improve school attendance, behavior, and math and/or Reading/English/Language Arts grades will be given priority.
