School dropout is oftentimes an end result to a failure to effectively support youth and reduce risk factors across child development and formative years. OCYF’s efforts to reduce childhood truancy (chronic absenteeism) and the impact of dropout on parents and families will be discussed in this opportunity in the Perspectives Series.
