Rutgers seeks service opportunities in Philly
Posted by on February 04, 2013
I am with Rutgers University located New Brunswick, NJ. I am part of a program called the Bonner Leadership Program- I am looking for Alternative Spring Break opportunities for a group of 16 AmeriCorps members.
We are inquiring to see if you know of any organizations in the Philadelphia area that would need our help from March 18-21 (Mon-Thurs). We can divide ourselves into smaller groups to do service and we can
also do different projects different days.
We are interested in many types of projects- community gardens, education, healthcare, the elderly, beautification projects, working with teens or disabled individuals.
Please let me know if you know of any organizations in need.
Yours truly,
Erin Maguire
AmeriCorps member and Spring Break Coordinator
