PYPM sponsors weekly spoken word workshops
Every Saturday, the Philly Youth Poetry Movement offers free writing and performance poetry workshops for youth from 12-3pm at Science Leadership Academy on 22nd and Arch Streets.
Workshops are facilitated by award-winning, prominent writers and spoken word artists from Philadelphia and beyond. Workshops are broken into four-week themed series and are always open to drop-in students. Past series topics have included the Art of Storytelling, Hip-Hop Meets Poetry, and the Landscape of My Identity.
