Organization: Clarifi is a growing non-profit community resource devoted to Lifelong Financial Literacy. Over five decades, we’ve helped people identify the most important assets in their lives through one-one counseling, proactive financial education programs and ongoing support. With a staff of 60 employees in 13 branch offices in the Greater Philadelphia Area, South Jersey and Delaware, Clarifi is known as the most trusted financial counseling and education resource in the region.
Job Title: Marketing Intern
Hours Required: 15-20 hours per week
Start Date: Mid-January 2013
Duration: Six months minimum; position can be extended
Location: Center City Philadelphia
Reports To: Web & Media Specialist
Qualifications: Student pursuing college degree, preferably in communications or related field. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and social media tools (Facebook, Twitter and YouTube). Must be very comfortable using technology tools.
Good organizational and interpersonal skills as well as better than average written and verbal communication skills. Giving attention to detail is a plus. Ability to think independently and work proactively. Ability to prioritize, multi task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. An interest in personal finance and women issues is a plus.

Essential Functions:
Support busy non-profit marketing department in different areas including program marketing support, public relations, event marketing and coordination, online communications, client research and more.
Tasks may include:
• Drafting/editing copy for print, web and social media
• Posting content to website, social media sites
• Preparing and executing weekly online client follow-up for specific programs
• Attending and supporting agency events
• Preparing marketing collateral packages
• Organizing data and helping to compile basic reports
• Conducting online research as requested
