Disability From the Inside Out: Acceptance, Assumptions, & Activism
Posted by on December 17, 2012
The President’s Commission on Human Diversity at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania will be hosting its annual Diversity Spring Conference.
Our theme this year is: Disability From the Inside Out: Acceptance, Assumptions, & Activism.
The March 1 conference will include panel discussions and workshops that will begin each hour from 9 am-2 pm.
We are looking for sessions that will reach beyond the surface assumptions and ideas of acceptance, to help attendees consider the multi-faceted, and often complex issues surrounding disability.
If you would like to submit a proposal or be part of a panel for the conference, please follow the link: http://www.kutztown.edu/library/disability
All events are free and open to the public.
Feel free to share this information with others in the greater disability community, as the event will be open to the public. If you have any questions, please contact Jerry Schearer at Schearer@kutztown.edu.
