Chesco fund opens application process
The Chester County Fund for Women And Girls has announced that the distribution of its grant awards will total $250,000 in 2013. This represents an 11% increase over last year.
The Fund’s 2013 annual grants cycle began the first week of December. Nonprofit agencies that are interested in applying for grant funding to help women and girls in Chester County can attend the Fund’s “How to Apply” workshop held on Thursday, December 13th from 9 to 11am at the Fund office. The workshops will include an update on this year’s grant guidelines and application process. The event will enable agencies to learn and ask questions about the Fund’s latest grants guidelines, network with other agencies serving women and girls in Chester County, and learn about the critical funding priorities this year: economic freedom and self-sufficiency, well-being and security of women and girls.
In addition, the Fund is introducing a new multi-tiered structure to its grantmaking, with the inclusion of a smaller tier for grants from $1,500-$4,999. This category is designed for organizations with annual operating budgets of less than $350,000. Smaller tier grants will have an abbreviated application and reporting process.
The Fund’s 2013 Grant Guidelines are available here.
