The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society has been a visionary not-for-profit organization in the Greater Philadelphia Region since its founding in 1827. PHS organizes the annual Philadelphia International Flower Show, the world’s largest and longest-running indoor flower show, which brings 250,000 visitors and creates a $61 million economic impact to the city. PHS’s Philadelphia Green helps transform lives through revolutionary programs like City Harvest, which has grown and donated 77,000 lbs of fresh produce in three years—helping to feed 1,000 families each week of the growing season. PHS will also lead the new Plant One Million, an ambitious program to plant one million trees in the tri-state region of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

POSITION SUMMARY:
PHS is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our creative services team. This is a full-time on-site position that will report to the Brand Manager to identify and design creative needs to help maintain a weekly production schedule. Candidates should feel comfortable working within tight deadlines and communicating with supervisor, co-workers and vendors. This position includes, but is not limited to, graphic design, production, branding and identity projects, direct mail pieces, collateral materials, mockups, digital graphics, and presentations to support our creative needs. Projects will include but not be limited to rebranding roll out, marketing collateral, PHS Philadelphia Flower Show materials, mobile apps, web development/design, public relations/business development materials, photography and social media support.
Candidate must thrive on creative design challenges and production duties and be able to work quickly and effectively in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate must be a self starter, detail oriented, highly motivated, organized, able to take ideas and develop them into usable concepts. The new designer needs to be forward thinking and like change.
