Position Summary:
The Chief Development Officer (CDO) is responsible for developing and managing an ambitious, comprehensive, yet targeted fund raising program capable of identifying and successfully securing significant financial support from individuals, foundations, and corporations for Philabundance’s operating, program and capital priorities. The CDO is also responsible for the execution of a strong annual fund, the planned giving program, donor cultivation and special events, and the Donor Recognition Program.
The CDO reports directly to the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. In addition to the CEO, the position works very closely with other senior staff and their staffs especially the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Financial Officer, the Deputy Director of Government Relations and the Director of Marketing.
