Revised Pennsylvania Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Learning Standards for Early Childhood Coming Soon

The Office of Child Development and Early Learning will be printing a 2013 revised edition of the Pennsylvania Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Learning Standards for Early Childhood. Please note that Infant Toddler Learning Standards will remain the same at this time. The 2013 edition will include Pennsylvania Common Core Standards in English Language Arts and Mathematics, in addition to formatting changes and refinements to other key learning areas. The 2013 Pennsylvania Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Learning Standards for Early Childhood will be the same as those found on the Standards Aligned System (SAS) portal.

Early Learning programs should continue to use the PA Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Learning Standards for Early Childhood which can be accessed on the PA Key website at http://www.pakeys.org/pages/get.aspx?page=Career_Standards until the revisions are made in the coming months. The Early Learning Standards can be downloaded for free or ordered by age group (includes the standards, continuum and posters) by visiting http://www.wavelinedirect.com.
