Southwest PA Service-Learning Course Showcase

You are cordially invited to attend the Annual SPRING Service-Learning Course Showcase event. This event features poster presentations from service-learning classes throughout the Southwestern PA Region. We are pleased to offer an expanded event celebrating the 20th anniversary of Pennsylvania Campus Compact. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, December 3rd in the Power Center Ballroom at Duquesne University. At this event, you will have a chance to network with experienced service-learning colleagues, learn about service-learning course development and view examples of student work in service-learning courses.
The agenda for the day includes:
2pm to 3pm: Community Engagement Opportunity Round Tables highlighting opportunities to address issues related to K-12 Youth, the Hazelwood Community, and Food Security
3:30pm to 5pm: Service-Learning and Community Engagement Poster Presentations
5pm to 5:30pm: Welcome and acknowledgement of PA Campus Compact 20th Anniversary
5:30pm-6:30pm: Keynote Address: Building Campus Community Partnerships
6:30 to 7:30pm: Networking Reception
