Job Summary:
This position reports to the President/CEO or his/her designee. The primary responsibilities are the maintenance and growth of individual and corporate donors to ensure the long term financial stability of Project Forward Leap. This officer must work effectively and collaboratively with the other development officer(s), the Board’s Development Committee, and other PFL staff.
Key Responsibilities:
To maintain a substantial portfolio of individual and corporate donors and to coordinate all organizational cultivation of individual and corporate donors. Regular travel to all PFL regions will be required.
To assemble proposals to corporations and individual donors and to assist as needed with the assembling of proposals to foundations and government agencies.
To conduct the Annual Fund campaign
To prospect for new revenue streams for Project Forward Leap from individual and corporate sources.
Job Qualifications:
The possession of at least a bachelor’s degree is required in addition to five or more years of experience in major fundraising preferred, or professional experience involving sales, and/or client/customer development and management.
Personal Attributes:
Detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills. Good written and verbal communicator. Resourcefulness and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
