Featured Speaker:
Dr. Doug S. Massey is the Henry G. Bryant Professor of Sociology and Public Affairs at Princeton University. Massey is the current president of the American Academy of Political and Social Science. His research focuses on urban poverty, race and housing, discrimination, education and stratification.
Panelists Include:
Otis Hackney is a Philadelphia School District graduate and current principal of South Philadelphia High. Mr. Hackney will speak about his experiences leading a low-poverty school, Springfield Township High School, in addition to his experiences at South Philadelphia High School, a diverse high-poverty urban school.
