Campus Compact Engaged Campus Webinar Series

Campus Compact is delighted to announce our Engaged Campus Webinar Series. This series of webinars will encourage member dialogue about impact, assessment and the connection between civic engagement and emergent trends. The first offering in the series is slightly different, as it has been pre-recorded for viewing at state and regional Campus Compact conferences scheduled for October 12, 2012. October 12: The Engaged Campus: Preparing for the 2015 Carnegie Community Engagement Classification (PRE-RECORDED)

Presenters will share information about the 2015 application cycle for the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching Elective Community Engagement Classification, discuss the ways it advances institutional engagement and offer “on the ground” perspectives from two- and four-year institutions. This initial offering has been pre-recorded for viewing at Campus Compact regional and statewide launches of activities and planning focused on the “engaged campus” and is also available for individual viewing.

Presenter: Dr. Barbara Holland, Higher Education Researcher and Consultant with Affiliations with University of Sydney, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and Portland State University

Join Dr. Barbara Holland in a presentation and discussion about strategies for measuring community impact. She will share a variety of approaches for getting started with the development of community impact measures including important factors to consider in planning and implementation. This is a great offering for those interested in developing a focused impact assessment.
