Posted by on September 17, 2012
October 4, 2012 at 2:00pm Eastern for Eco-Logical: An Ecosystem Approach to Infrastructure Development. In 2006, leaders from eight Federal agencies signed the inter-agency document EcoLogical: An Ecosystem Approach to Developing Infrastructure Projects. Eco-Logical outlines a shared vision of how to develop infrastructure projects in ways that are more sensitive to terrestrial and aquatic habitats, promoting advanced mitigation and early consideration of critical environmental resources. Since signing the document, the eight agencies have continued to collaborate on efforts to promote the principles embodied in the Eco-Logical document with a goal of implementing the Eco-Logical approach nationwide.
