New Website: Financial Advancement Network Clubs
Posted by on September 17, 2012
Last year, Urban Affairs Coalition’s Community Economic Development (CED) Department received a grant of $20,000 from Citibank Foundation to design and develop a website for our signature financial education work in service to low- and moderate-income people. We are quite pleased to announce the launch of the FAN website.
To view our new website, please visit http://fan.uac.org
There are two parts to the website.
The first part of the website is open to the public. The public website provides information about all of the programs we offer. Those programs and resources include: FAN Workshops, FAN Clubs, The Speakers Bureau, The Quarterly Financial Capability Roundtable Discussion and Brown Bag Lunches, The Financial Capability Directory and access to over 700 photographs of recent events.
The second part of the website is exclusively for FAN Club members and alum. The members and alum have access to the internal website where they can participate in discussions on various financial and economic topics. They also can interface with financial experts that are active members on our Speakers Bureau. The internal site helps us to fulfill our vision of being there “FAN for LIFE”!
We are sincerely grateful for Citibank Foundation’s generous donation and continued support to help ensure people on the margins of society begin to take steps toward financial freedom.
