Job Title: Membership Intern
Expected Commitment: 15-20 hours per week

Description:

The Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia is looking for an intern to support our Membership Services. SBN is a membership organization of over 500 local businesses committed to a triple bottom line of people, planet, and profit.

Reports to: Member Services Manager, Laila Reilly

Supports: All staff

Basic responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Preparation of electronic newsletters
Processing of new and expiring members and donors
Mailing renewal invoices and welcome packets
Assisting in the distribution of the 2012 Business Directory
Assisting with account and website updates in Salesforce
Outreach to members during Membership Survey process
Online research Representing SBN at outreach events when available
Other duties as assigned

Desired skills:

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Database experience strongly preferred
Good customer service skills
Commitment to SBN’s mission
Team player/self-starter
