Health Impact Assessent Program Grant
Posted by on August 20, 2012
The Health Impact Project, a collaboration of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and The Pew Charitable Trusts, has issued a call for grant proposals to conduct health impact assessments, or HIAs. HIAs bring together scientific data, health expertise, and public input to identify the potential health effects of a new proposal in order to build in recommendations that minimize risks and create opportunities to improve health.
The deadline to submit an HIA Program Grant brief proposal is September 14, 2012 (5:00 p.m. PT). The deadline to submit an HIA Demonstration Project proposal is September 28, 2012 (5:00 p.m. PT). In fairness to other applicants, we will not accept late submissions.
