A nonprofit agency dedicated to helping those individuals in need and improving the quality of life to individuals and families residing in central New Jersey seeks a dynamic, community-driven leader with experience and a proven track record developing affordable housing opportunities for low and moderate income individuals and families.

Responsibilities include:

Provide leadership and carry out strategic directions for agency’s affordable housing plan;
Develop affordable housing for low and moderate income individuals and families;
Create and coordinate project development teams;
Provide fiscal oversight of housing development projects;
Maintain effective relationships with funding sources, identify new funding resources;
Work collaboratively with community partners to prevent homelessness and carry out agency’s Mission.

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree;
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of housing policies and funding resources at the State and Federal levels;
Strong communication, writing, financial management and organizational skills;
Demonstrates ability to exercise good judgment;
Minimum of 5 years senior management/executive level experience.
