Emergency Food and Shelter Program

The United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania has announced the availability of Emergency Food and Shelter Program funds in Philadelphia County.
Funds may be used by nonprofit organizations to provide mass shelter to homeless individuals within the national and local guidelines. Funds are also available to agencies for emergency rent, mortgage, utility and food assistance.
An applicant forum will be held at the United Way building on Tuesday, October 14th, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. If you would like a copy of the application packet, have a question about the funding process or would like to RSVP for the forum, please email Brian Gralnick or call him at 215-665-2456. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, October 31st at 5pm.
