Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.
2. Knowledge, experience and skills in working with women and children who are homeless.
3. An understanding of and a commitment to the mission of Bridge of Hope and Oxford Circle CCDA: To extend healing and hope in the Oxford Circle community believing that God’s purpose of reconciling all people to Jesus leads us to minister on spiritual, physical, social & economic levels.
4. Strong interpersonal skills.
Position Summary: This person’s primary role is to provide case management and support services for 2 – 3 single homeless and at-risk mothers and their children during their 12 to 24 month participation in Oxford Circle CCDA Bridge of Hope’s program. This includes participating in family selection, resourcing mentoring groups and providing supportive counseling for participating families to encourage financial stability and holistic growth.
Hours: 10-15 hours/week; flexible schedule, must be available some weekends and evenings.
