About the Project

Generocity.org is a nonprofit internet startup with the mission to connect people to nonprofits and causes in the Greater Philadelphia area.

We’re looking for talented web developers to help us build a cloud-based dashboard product. This 6 month full-time freelance project will start depending upon the availability of the candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented web developer to join a mission-oriented project. The best candidate for this role will be people who are not only expert coders, but are also passionate about doing good and making Philadelphia a better place.

Job Description

The Front-End Web Developer is responsible for working with our creative designer and PHP/MySQL development team on designing and developing new and impressive web/application templates for Generocity.org which will deliver an informative and exciting experience to our users.

The developer should be quick, efficient, and skilled in the latest front-end web technologies, web standards, responsive design techniques, and should be able to solve cross-browser compatibility issues.

In addition to technical skill, the developer should have an intuitive sense of how effective web design and front-end development relates to the overall organization and its ability to serve the communities of greater Philly.
