Posted by on January 08, 2012
The 2012 Grassroots & Groundwork conference is scheduled for June 6-8, 2012, in Minnesota. We hope you’ll join us as we explore the theme: Working Together to Reduce Poverty and Build Prosperity.
This conference is all about what organizations – like yours – are doing to help low-income people build sustainable prosperity in urban areas, rural communities and on Native American reservations. Grassroots & Groundwork shines a light on what’s working and what’s promising, as well as networking, inspiration and down-to-earth, practical approaches to your work.

The goal is to “working together to reduce poverty and build prosperity.” The purpose of the conference is to provide a unique opportunity for participants to roll up their sleeves and examine some of the best and brightest programs working in communities all across the country to address long-term poverty.
You are invited to share your model with conference participants – community residents, policymakers, legislators, business leaders, service providers, and researchers committed to poverty reduction. Your presentation will contribute to the body of knowledge, systems and tools conferees can consider as they work to reduce poverty and build assets in their own communities.
