Women’s Way sponsors ninth annual Women & Influence Conference
Women’s Way’s ninth annual Women & Influence: Taking Charge – Women and Work conference takes place on Saturday, December 3rd from 9am to 3:45pm at the Moore College of Art and Design, 20th Street and Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Women & Influence is a free conference that allows women to come together to focus and voice their opinions on issues of importance to women, girls, and their families in our region. Conference participants will be able to listen, learn, network, and converse in an open and supportive atmosphere.
This year’s conference will examine women and work, with sessions for all women – for the woman working two jobs and trying to make ends meet, to the woman looking to rejoin the workforce after an extended leave, to the executive seeking to network or start her own business. A range of experts will engage participants in dialogue about various legal, policy, and social issues. We will explore how far women have come and where we still need to go. Participants will also receive valuable tools to address challenges women face in today’s workforce.
