Film Screening: American Teacher

On Wednesday, November 9, Need in Deed will host a screening of the new film, American Teacher. The event will be held at WHYY’s Hamilton Media Commons (150 N. 6th) from 4:30-8:00 PM. This feature length documentary was produced by writer Dave Eggers and Academy Award winning filmmaker Vanessa Roth (who also directed) and narrated by Matt Damon, and explores the passion and challenges of four teachers who live and work in different areas across the country.
