Chief Executive Officer, Carson Valley Children’s Aid

Carson Valley Children’s Aid is currently seeking a Chief Executive Officer.  The Chief Executive Officer is the principal executive and administrative officer of Carson Valley Children’s Aid, responsible for providing strategic leadership and assuring the continued success and advancement of the organization through the overall implementation and supervision of the mission, business and affairs of the Agency and its properties and facilities.  This function is performed under the authority and direction of the Board of Directors as well as through leading an executive management team, and the establishment of short- and long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies.  The CEO is also responsible for assuring that CVCA remains relevant and responsive to the needs of its constituency of children and families, and accountable to its mission, its community, and its funders in the provision of quality services.

Job Requirements:
Position requires a minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in the for-profit or nonprofit sectors in a senior management position, as well as extensive demonstrated experience in the following areas:
•    Administrative and financial management and fundraising.
•    Organizational and program planning and evaluation;
•    Cultivation of partnerships with corporate, government and community organizations and leaders;
•    Oversight of the development and management of varied distinct program departments, of finance staff managing large budgets, and of efforts to identify new financial and programmatic resources for an organization.
